Located in the Santa Barbara/Martineztown neighborhood of Albuquerque, Plaza Ciudaña is an apartment community that transformed a previously blighted industrial property into a vibrant, urban living experience in this historic neighborhood. Plaza Ciudaña’s design is a blend of urban and traditional neighborhood design principles with porches and stoops along the street as well as tree shaded parking courts and private courtyards and balconies. On-site enrichment services offer after school tutoring, classes in health and nutrition, computer literacy, financial literacy, job search and resume building, and CPR in addition to health screenings and other community events.

Funding was secured through the City of Albuquerque, the New Mexico Housing Trust Fund, and utilization of Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority.
